  • Why does No$gmb ask for money when it is "no$"?
     It does that when you try to use colour gameboy emulation. Yes it looks better but it will stop you every 10 min. Change it to Super Gameboy emulation to prevent the message- click on a mouse button during the game to bring up a menu, click setup, and change the first tab to "super gameboy". Yes, you can get another emulator that supports color gameboy without the interuptions but it will not run as fast as No$gmb.

  • How come I can't play /unzip Pokemon after I downloaded it?
     First, you need to unzip the files with an unzip program like Winzip. Then you need to unzip the emulator files and the pokemon files into the same folder. Now run the .bat file (with the wheel icon) to play.

  • When I try to run Pokémon, it says not enough memory!
     Read the readme file included in the zip. It tells you to put some lines into your config.sys file:
      device=windows\himem.sys
      device=windows\emm386.exe
    To put them in, click on Start Menu, then Run. Type in "edit c:\config.sys" and add the lines in.

  • Where do I get the Gameboy No$gmb emulator?
     The No$gmb emulator is free and can be downloaded here in the Download Pokemon section.

  • How do you play/open the games?
     In the zip files, there is a .bat file included. Run that to play and make sure you get the no$gmb emulator too.

  • How do you use gameshark or game genie cheats in No$gmb?
     During the game, press Esc and click on 'Utility' tab.

  • What are the keys in No$gmb?
     If you do not like my keys, set them yourself: during the game, click on the mouse for a menu and click on Setup, then the 'KEYB' tab.

  • How do you type the é in Pokémon?
     To write é, hold alt and press 642 on the NUM pad. To write É, hold alt and press 656.
